Of 1st Syawal and Puteri Firus

Growing up, I slowly lose the interest of celebrating hari raya because of some reasons. Its not as meriah as it was, the way I always wanted it to be. But nonetheless, I am very glad that I have Tokmak by my side each year to cheer me up. She always fills up the emptiness of my heart, seeing her happy treating and caring her cucu makes all sadness go away on pagi raya. And since most of my friends live in KL, I usually spent Hari Raya watching Hari Raya TV programmes while others are busy attending open houses here and there. I know, my life was lame, I admit it.

But it totally changed this year since I am now a wife! And I’m by my husband’s side, which means we got to spend the 1^st Syawal together. I am very blessed and thankful to Allah because my raya routine this year totally changed. First thing in the morning, got ready and kejutkan hubby from his sleep. Help him got ready to go for Raya prayer and dapat bersalaman di pagi raya.

Walaupun kami berhari raya di lautan, tapi perasaan dapat mencium tangan suami di pagi raya, sungguh syahdu….. dapat menghabiskan masa bersama Aidilfitri ini, hadiah tak ternilai untuk Nina.Tapi, di kala bergembira, sedih juga melihat semua anak kapal yang bekerja di Hari Raya, meninggalkan isteri dan anak anak atas tuntutan kerja. Perasaan mereka, siapa yang tahu. Insyaallah tahun depan mereka dapat beraya bersama keluarga tersayang pula.

Celebrating Eid on board was not bad. At least juadah Hari raya tetap sama! Ketupat anyaman hubby pun ada tau. Hehe. After having lemang and ketupat, we had a photo session.

Bergambar sudah, time untuk makan lagi hehe. Dinner Raya pulak. Macam- macam ada…. Kambing bakar, nasi beriani, kuih muih, satay, kek secret recipe dan macam macam lagi

At night, a game were held by Cadets and Junior officers. Charade, telinga karat, and Limbo were the games. All of us had fun last night and hubby even sakit pinggang after won the second place for Limbo Rock game. Hehe.
