what we do on board

basically, when the ship is sailing in the open sea, there's no phone line, which means no call, no text, no astro, and no internet connection. So the ship staff need to do activities to keep themselves preoccupied after work.

Thank God i have two best friends on board Puteri Intan. Kak Wani is Amir (cargo engineer)'s wife, meanwhile Kak Ida is Hafiz (4th Engineer)'s wife. They always keep me entertained, they even personally asked me to teach them on makeup basics!

I'm back, after a loooong break from blogspot

Hi everyone! Nina baru je balik belayar with hubby, just for a trip which means 2 minggu lebih. Onboard, i was thinking that i want to write again. yeah, suddenly je kan. Tapi Nina rasa I have missed a lot by not writing every sweet memory and events that are happening in my life, and also our life- our married life. Nanti boleh tengok gambar and baca balik details about what's happening in our life kan. Rugi pulak biarkan gambar tersimpan dalam hard disk je.

So for now, let me show some of the photos of me onboard and also on our short trip to Japan.

Marina Bay- factory outlet!!!

Kannai

perfume shop. the perfumes are so cheap!!! and of course, original!

of course, a photo of me and hubby camwhoring with the webcam in our boiler suit

till then,
much love, Nina Mazda.

Sightseeing Yokohama city with my guy :)

Negishi port is one of seafarers’ favourite ports and lucky for us, the ship was scheduled to deliver gas there. It’s my first time, so I didn’t know what to expect from there. It turns out, the 8 hours shore leave wasn’t enough! There are so many places that we can go, and there are so many places to shop! (LOVE). The best part is, I got to enjoy every single moment in Japan with dearest hubby.

The weather was cooler than Senboku, so even though we walked more than 3km or so, we didn’t sweat at all. But it was slightly rainy here and there during our short trip to Japan.
The agent dropped us at Negishi station.

The stations. No wonder la Japanese rarely drive, that’s because every 2 km or so, there is a station. But still, if we have this kind of trains in Malaysia, we wouldn’t bother because being typical Malaysian, our butts apparently is as heavy as rock (pemalas).

Dropping off fellow seafarers at Kannai before we continued our journey to Sakuragicho.

 Walking in the rain J

Autoback- a heaven for car accessories. Hubby was looking for something here so being a good wife; I just follow and waited for him at the waiting area hehe.

Toyota or Mazda??? Of course Mazda J

Walking in the rain part 2

Sempat je hubby snapped this one while crossing the street. Me and hubby travelled berdua. So there is no picture of us together L

Exclusive bridal Kimono

Eneos Gas Station

We went to Hard Rock Café Yokohama to buy some t-shirt for hubby’s colleague.

Every Sunday, there will be a street performance here.

Nippon Maru Memorial Park

Yokohama's  landmark tower
Since it was Sunday, the city was full of crowd shopping and wandering around.

Isn’t the curved escalator gorgeous?

The ferris wheel is magnificent with a digital clock in the centre.

Our tickets. We probably spent 50 bucks or something just for the train tickets. Negishi- Kannai- Sakuragicho- Kannai- Marina Bay- Negishi.

me at Sakuragicho station

It’s time for buka puasa! We went back to Kannai to eat and buy some stuff. TNT tempura place offers the best Tempura in town!

Hungry monster 1

The cute waitress. The thing in Japan that really disturbs me is that most of Japanese don’t speak nor understand English. So it really was hard to communicate and ask them for something. What hubby did was speaking Bahasa Melayu whenever the Japanese spoke Japan. It was quite funny actually when seorang cakap ayam, seorang lagi cakap itik.

Hungry monster 2

We were famished and eating this delicious Tempura really satisfied our hunger.

Last destination, Factory Outlet in !!! My heaven of course, but its not heaven anymore since all of the shops close at 8 pm SHARP and we arrived to my heaven just 10 minutes to 8 pm. But still we managed to grab a couple pair of sport shoes! Such a great bargain with such cheap price!

When all's said and done, I had a tremendous joyful time spent with dear hubby in Japan. Thanks sayang for everything. But most of all, THANKS SAYANG FOR MY LOVELY 21ST BIRTHDAY PRESENT. I love it so muchhhh!

Kisses,
Mrs Nina.
