the best remedy to cure sadness- for me~

is to watch movies or do some retail therapy!

but today we watched movie- Toy Story 3 in 3D.. Toy Story has become my favourite since i was a little girl. with cute cowboy Woody and Buzz Lightyear. but the third movie is the best. i have concluded that the last sequel of films must have some emotional elements so that people wont ever forget the film! just like Shrek where i cried in one particular part. hehe..

movies and food..........

last Friday i watched Lagenda Budak Setan with Auntie Ena and lil Beth. i was hoping that it will worth watching, but man! it was worse than ....... well i cant think of any bad movie because all of them were good! 

the storyline, the actors, the penghayatan. it was all wrong...... first of all, i was a bit bored to see Lisa (again) in a romantic movie. Second, like what Leed said, cant they chop the movie to several parts so that they we (including those who didn't read the novel) will understand the story better. 

third, i couldn't feel the right mood, i read in newspaper that Shikin has practiced her role for 2 weeks, and i can say, its not enough! fourth, Sharad Sharan who????

on Saturday, there's a small kenduri to celebrate Auntie Ena's family's anniversaries. so, that means eating time!!!! 

the only picture i took, i was so hungry and thirsty, look at that! yess, it does quench your thirst....

on Sunday, my future family in law did a small kenduri too to celebrate my future brother in law visit to Makkah for umrah. another eating time!!! sorry i forgot to take any pictures, was too busy indulging myself with delicious food!

we went to watch Prince of Persia, and it was so awesome that my aunt and I wanted to watch it again as soon as the movie ended!

Happily Ever After

this is my ultimate wishlist ever; to be happily ever after, here in this world and also in the here after. since i am a little girl, i always dream of having a very handsome husband who is loyal and loving to me and also my kids. we would have mini vacation every other weekend to beautiful places in Malaysia.

me and hubby would have 3 or 4 kids that we adore so much and we live happily ever after..............

oh it's nice to have day dream, no? if only life can be that simple and that beautiful.

today we are shocked by baby dumping, young mother (PLKN trainee) and many other. gosh its terrifying!! if only we hold on to our faith and religion and have matured mind to think wisely every time we make a decision, all of these problems wont come out!!

just like me, people make mistakes right? and people who succeed is those who wake up after failed. hope i can learn from my mistake and be one useful daughter, student, fiancee, friend, sister, cousin, niece (and hopefully mother and granny) today, tomorrow and in future!

last wednesday, i watched Shrek 3: Happily Ever After. watching this film made me cry (silly me!). it reminds me to appreciate what we have today, because what we want may not be the best for us.

Shrek didnt like the normal un-ogre life with wife, kids and friends (cute donkey and puss in boots) and instead, he wanted his normal ogre life where all villagers are scared with him because of the ugly and bad creature he is.

and one day he asked Rumpelstiltskin to give him any one day that he thinks normal so that he can act normal. little did he know that everything he asked for is the only thing he have never think of to happen!!!

this last movie of Shrek really touched me because it is different from the normal Shrek, the all comedy Shrek because this one includes emotion!

it makes me think that i should appreciate the life i have because we dont know if the life we wish to have is the best for us after all. so, I should say thanks to:

Adam the Musical of HIV AIDS, a must watch!

hello readers, woke up this morning feeling so tired and restless because i was travelling back and forth from KL to Muar. i spent the weekend at Damansara and returned to Muar on Sunday evening.

then, on Monday, did some shopping with Auntie Ena at Melacca.

and yesterday, i went to Kuala Lumpur again to watch a play called Adam the Musical.

Auntie Ena asked me if i want to join her with her students to watch this play and I immediately said YES!

you see, i have never watched a play before except for performing a play for my course's assesment during Pre-TESL. so it wasn't something professional as this one.

in conjunction with the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, The Actors Studio is premiering a play to raise awareness about HIV AIDS. 

the story is about Adam and Sylvia that is about to get married when suddenly Adam fall sick and is diagnosed to have HIV positive symptoms. The play also touched on some religious issues when Sylvia wanted to convert to Islam.

other than that, it tells us how our society looks at AIDS patient as if the disease is infectious and contagious and can spread by air and by a touch. 

but most of all, the love conquers all, Adam is yet to find his true love............

*this is my synopsis, if u have watched it do give some feedback okay! *

and i must say that the play has mesmerized me in so many ways! 

the amazing actors *including Dato' Faridah Merican*

the magnificent voice of each actor especially the heroin- her voice is very similar to Barbie's

great play. since it is a musical, its not boring and the songs are beautifully written and sang!

please know that i'm not exaggerating anything, but this review is just a tiny fraction of the real experience. you can find out more here

quick trip to Melaka

hello hello! sorry cerita dah basi tapi baru ada mood nak type.. hee..

last week pada 8 Ogos 2009 Nina ngan Shah pegi Melaka nak jalan jalan..



semangat nih pakai dress ala-ala nak pergi beach dengan harapan nak lepak pantai Melaka tuh.. tapi takkan lah nak lepak dari pagi sampai petang kot kan kat pantai..

jadi kami ambil keputusan untuk pergi ke Dataran Pahlawan terlebih dahulu..

Memang rasa pelik sangat bila berjalan memakai dress labuh di tengah shopping mall tapi apa ada hal! :D



Mula-mula pergi cinema, Shah nak tengok GI Joe, nina pulak nak tengok The Proposal dengan Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past.. Last last ikutkan je dia sebab dia yang bayarkan tiket.. kang merajuk pulak cik abang tuh.. Wajib ikut cakap tunang :D Nasib baik cerita tuh best! In fact, sangat best rasa macam nak tengok lagi sekali je!

Habis je tengok GI Joe Shah kata boleh lagi kalau nak tengok movie lain.. terus beratur beli tiket movie The Proposal.. cerita ni tak berapa best sangat, kalau nak dibandingkan dengan GI Joe.. Movie marathon lah tengok dua movie straight in 4 hours..

tapi best sangat sebab dah lama tak tengok wayang dengan dia.. last sekali tengok movie kat wayang dengan dia pun masa citer Twilight baru keluar.. itupun sebelum tunang.. kira ini first time kami tengok movie since jadi tunang.. ^__^ seronok sangat tapi Shah boleh lagi nak sambung tengok movie lain pulak! tak sanggup mak! perut dah bunyik ala-ala keroncong Ana!

Sempat pergi PC Fair kat Mahkota Parade, tengok- tengok apa yang ada.. kat sana ramai yang pakai mask, Nina dah takut sebab tak ada mask tapi main redah je la nak buat macam mana ^__^ I feel safe as long as I'm by his side. Cehh romantik gitu.

Agak-agak dah petang matahari pun dah tak terik kami pun menuju ke pantai dengan tujuan nak tengok sunset. hampehs bila matahari pun takde apalagi nak tengok ia terbenam.. :(



tapi takpelah janji ada pantai.. boleh la nak buat port dating.. HAHA.

sayang, u made my day very much.. walaupun sekejap, i will never forget that moment.. thanks sebab sudi luangkan masa awak untuk Nina.. really appreciate it.. :)

what can you expect more when u see her running sexily on the dessert?

go watch it at your nearest cinema, serious tak rugi lah rm9 korang bayar tiket wayang!

despite all the critiques from the worlwide perspective on the film, i still think that the movie really makes me amazed with the CGI and all..

i watched it with her.

and it makes me more excited to watch it this afternoon.. so bangga dapat jadi orang terawal tengok this movie practically because i am a movie mania..

and watching it at a local cinema in Muar doesnt hold my mood! the popcorns is waaay better than TGV and GSC sebab diorang tak kedekut caramel. yummy!

overall, two tumbs up from me!

Movies I can't wait!

yesterday, i watched 2009 MTV Movie awards and I'm so overjoyed that Twilight won so many awards!

above all other cool movies, it seems like Twilight really makes most of us fell in love with the vampire-human romance, right?

Watching the way Edward Cullen stares really melts me..

It is a very special movie for me as I watched it with him on his birthday last year..

And yeah, I cant wait for the upcoming The Twilight Saga:New Moon! currently, the movie is still in the making.. and the little-now-beautiful-teen Dakota Fanning is also starring in the movie as one of the vampire.. isn't that exciting?

hopefully I can watch the new Twilight with him again..

and since I am a big fan of Transformers, I have already marked my calendar on 24th June for the second movie!

I really miss the smell of sweet popcorn coated with caramel.. ooh yummy!

So what are you waiting for? Let's hit the cinema, buddy!
